Hey all,
Forgive the shameless self-promotion
So having been extremely busy all summer, and have barely had a camera in my hand since May; I took some free time a few weeks ago and submitted a photo from this spring to the Oregon Naturally contest.
We haven't really seen the news in forever, but last Thursday I decided to flip on KGW to see how the weather was looking for the weekend. When the weather started, my wife and I were completely shocked to see what looked like my picture, and my name on the screen. It isn't clear to me exactly if/what I won (I think it is just a monthly prize, the weatherman said quarterly), but found it really cool to see my photo on TV regardless.

I think things are calming and I'm finally able to get back into the nature photography. I'm very excited about the upcoming Fall colors event, and hope to see everyone there.

Brett, very cool...if you do win you will receive an email from Bill MacKenzie who does the PR work for Intel Oregon.
I was the winner of the 1st Quarter and got a 5 night stay at any Shilo Inns.
I know Kevin H won also.....so now we need one more PNW Photographer to win the 4th prize.....
Wow, Brett, I completely missed that on the news. Congrats! I also won in June. I'm still waiting for the prize, though. Could you let me know his email so I can touch base with him again?

Darren, that has been my favorite shot of yours for a while now. I was just talking about it the other day.
