I was wondering if anyone out there does any video work? I am considering doing a bit as part of an upcoming project and would love to bounce some ideas and questions off somebody via email. Please drop me an email at drew at drewfulton.com
Thanks!

Drew,
I'm just starting to use video. The biggest challenge that I've had so far is the production. It takes a big fast computer, that I have, and a lot of new expensive software if you want professional looking footage. The thing that I'm finding is one can make wonderful slide shows combining video and still images. This is what I'm working on now.
I'm using the new Panasonic AG-HSC1UP AVCHD camera with Adobe Creative Production Suite CS3 for production. The only glitch that I've had so far is the encoding of the AVCHD files. They are so new that the big software companies are lagging behind in patches to encode the video stream. I had to purchase a stand-alone program to encode it to Mpeg HDV.
