Recent shot from last week up in the Aspen area. Morning light strikes 2 fourteeners, Castle and Conundrum peaks. It is not your usual angle of these peaks. My shot

Just posted another shot from the same trip over in the ESS gallery. Go and have a look if you have chance.

Thanks for looking!

Very nice image! I really like the way the light is hitting the top of the peaks.

Where the hell are you, up on Malamute? That rock looks like some gnarly climbing! Great shot, man.

Great early morning light. It reminds me of your adventures on the back side of Sneffels from a while back. That rock does look pretty gnarly!!

Awesome image, particularly considering the considerable effort to get there. An you're right, no one has ever been treated to that view. Nice job adding depth with the crumbly foreground rock, which anyone who has ever climbed in the elks will recognize.

Very cool Jody! But I know for a fact you took a helicopter!! There is no way you climbed up there for sunrise!!

Just kidding! And thanks for stopping by with all the film the other day! Spectacular stuff, all of it! Get scanning, and get it posted!

This is one of those photos that amazes simply because of the viewpoint and timing. You are a GOAT.

Wow that's a hell of a place to be for sunrise!!! Good job.
