Took a trip up to Webster Pass yesterday to enjoy the nice weather. Had partly cloudy skies all day so patches of sunlight were drifting across the landscape making for interesting light. Would love to get your comments on these. Thanks!

Botton face of Red Cone Peak. The jpeg compression ruined a lot of the detail here I'm afraid.

Very nice Scott! Well seen images! I've got to tell you, these remind me a whole lot of some of your Iceland images!

Thanks Brent, this area has the same geologic formations as the the Landmannalauger area in Iceland so they do have a similar look. Only difference is in Iceland there are multiple ranges of these type of mountains instead of just a few individual mountains here.

This is great stuff! When I saw the first one, I let out a very spontaneous "OH! That's niiiice!"

Some great timing on the first one there Scott. All are very nice but the first one is the best IMO.

My favorite is the second one. I really like the comp, the 3D depth, and the light. Nice colors too.

I really like mystery in #1 and the textures in #3.
I'm sure the JPGs don't do either justice.

The first and third images are fascinating. What planet is that?

Great views Scott!! What an amazing landscape up above the tree line.

These are all quite nice but that first one is one of the coolest abstracts I've seen in quite a while. Killer work, Scott!

Great shots! I really like the second image!

I like it! Especially the first one; the lighting really makes it special IMHO. Thanks for sharing.

Great photos, Scott. I have to give the nod to #1. What color and light!

Yeah, that first one is my kind of image! Great photos all around.

#1!! Landscape or abstract? Abstract landscape?

I especially like the first two. Great textures and light.

Wow - #1 is really amazing. Great shot all the way around! I would like to see this in a HUGE print...

Very nice Scott. I've had these spots in mind for a long time, but just haven't made it up there yet.

Great eye and perfect execution, Scott. All three are outstanding, but that first one is really something else.
