This is about half the herd, the noises they made were fantastic.

Hi Tim,

SPOOKY  I was just looking through your Africa gallery on your website, and really liked this enviro shot, come onto the forum and there it is!! You have some cracking images on there, looks like you had a good time, apart from your accident of course.

Regards

Rob

Super environmental shot.
Personally, would prefer a tad more sky at the top, as the horizon line is a bit close to the edge of the frame.

Awesome Tim. Where did you photograph this? I only found small herds in the Masai, but people mention Samburu in Kenya and The Delta for the big herds - any thoughts? Great to see an enviro shot of elephants. I always feel they suit this better than just an ele on its own. :toast: :toast:

It's a great photo, Tim! Contrary to Jeremy, I would let go sky completely. But by trees on the right side of the frame, it looks you was not able to do that.

Cheers,
Marko

Hi Andy and Elliott,
This was taken in South Africa, so a few countries away from you Elliott, in a park called Hluhluwe.

Thanks for comments
