Well, it looks like I won't be joining y'all for the big trip up to Trout Lake this year (maybe the next weekend/weekday)? We're heading to the beach for only 4 days.
And so I finally got my gallery up after a long hiatus and noticed that I have many old, earlier pics that I don't really think show my best efforts and would like to add some really nice beach/ocean pics like y'all have been posting here lately.
So I'm asking, generally speaking, where would be some good spots to go from the Cannon Beach area to, say, Newport (if we have the time)? I probably will only have 1-2 mornings or nights to try something so any ideas of where to shoot?
Thanks!
Kevin

I'd hit Ecola Park for sure. The viewpoint there is nice. Indian Beach as well - just a little further than Ecola on the same road. On the beach, walk south to the rocky area there. The view of the lighthouse is best from there. You might even take the trail North that heads towards Seaside around Tillamook Head.
