The Bridge
This was shot while out with my two good buddies, Eric and Ned. We had a lot of fun shooting sunrise, then sunset. I ventured out onto the middle of this bridge to get this comp. I think I waited too long to get out here, because it's a bit too dark overall. This was a 30 second exposure. I would have done longer, but the bridge had this vibration thing going on about every 45 seconds. Still, I liked the comp...and plan to return soon to reshoot. I mainly want to see the top of the bridge stand out more against the sky.
I'd love to hear some of your thoughts on this.

Cool shot Rick. It is a bit dark though. I do like that little sliver of light blue on the underside of the arch, more of that would be cool.

I have mixed feelings on this one. It's mile 18 of the Portland Marathon.

Sweet shot - I have yet to do above the bridge - I was below it a while back. One of the coolest bridges in PDX, in my opinion. I'd shoot it again just a bit earlier for more detail of the bridge - especially at the top.
