Just wondering what all ya'all think of this one.
It was a beautiful day for a hike and the light was GREAT!

Wow, Moss in the gorge!?!? Just kidding! you'll have to excuse my sarchasm, I'm kinda punchy tonight.
I like how the water has a fluffy texture to it. I dont think I've seen that in a waterfall before. Anyway, I like it Edward. I like the lush green with a touch of warm fall color. Looks like there's lots of detail in a larger image...?

Thanks Curtis. It has lots of detail and prints great. The fluffy water is all due to a 4 stop ND filter I was trying out, I think. The light was just about perfect today for this kind of shot.
The moss in the gorge is pretty amazing. I always get a kick out of those houses along the side of the road that are covered in moss. They have torn a lot of them down. I guess they don't last too long in those conditions.

Great comp, classic local. I do think the greens are a bit flourescent though...maybe backing down onthe saturation would help a little here.

I know exactly where this is and it is a cool shot. I do detect a magenta cast, especially in the rocks. My brothers suggestion might be the ticket.

Hi Erik and Rick...
I already dialed down the magenta quite a bit, I guess I didn't go far enough. I'll tweak it a it and see where it goes.
Thanks for the suggestions!

Yes for what Rick said but also the top is a bit of a jumble to me. Maybe fixing the greens would help that out. Not a bad shot at all, btw.

NIce shot. Was this recent ? I didn't think the greens would be so green at this time.....

Yes, it was shot 2 days ago. It had rained for 48 hours prior, and was misting on the day, so I think things perked up quite a bit. A lot of the "green fluorescents" is due to the amazing back lighting coming from a perfectly white overcast. It really was some great light and the main reason I went back here. Every time I was up here prior, the sun was direct and harsh.

Very nice! To agree with what Mark said, maybe trying a crop that removed a bit of the top and the right?
