Hi all,

Just thought I'd mention how our little 7 month old Netta is doing since the surgery - she's doing great! And her last echo this past Thursday showed that her arteries are growing to a good size and so she won't need another procedure to widen them anytime soon. Her incision has healed well - so well that you have to take a second look to see the line. There will always be heart things to watch with a heart patient like she is, but this is about as good as it gets!

So thank you all for your support over these past few months. We have a very happy, smiley girl who just learned to sit up and pose for daddy

Kevin

Great news Kevin. Glad to hear she made such a good recovery. She looks like a normal healthy baby.

I love good news, I love the happy face of a happy girl.
Thanks for sharing the good news and the positive note at the start of the day

Awesome! She looks like she's just barely willing to hold still long enough to get a sharp shot at 1/80th of a second . Glad to know things are going well.

Good news! She's very cute. Hopefully now Mom and Dad can relax a little and enjoy watching a healthy girl grow and blosom. Thanks for telling us and for showing us her pretty smile.

Wonderful news Kevin, Joy Joy Joy !! She is amazing. Soon enough we'll see a photo post of Netta playing soccer (like Ellen Hudon)

Kids have a way of getting well a lot quicker than us older folks. I am glad that everything worked out. What a cutie!

Thanks all! I do feel like y'all are my second family, so it seemed fitting to fill you in on the latest news. And my wife was just saying that we don't have any good recent pics of her, Netta seemed ok with it, and so an impromptu shoot on the couch happened, although I do wish the white pillows weren't in it...

I remember when Milton was this age, I think this is the best time to take pics! FYI, the kids tire quickly but if you're ready they just sit there and you shoot away. I'll try to get more in the coming months that don't look so "Olan Mills" like. My biggest obstacle, convincing her Mom that my photo ideas may be good ones (she just has a hard time going with the flow).

I'm too new to know the whole story, but any parent can empathize and I'm glad to hear things are working well. Thanks for the photo!
