I sat at work this morning and enjoyed a great sunrise, looking out the office window. I'd have prefered to be outside with the camera though..bummer..

I was inside McDonalds and saw it too - one of the most beautiful I've seen in a while! I was thinking how nice it would have been to be out in the woods...

I was at my computer looking out the window and writing about the colors in the sunrise this morning, but I need to cut down a few more trees here in order to get a clear shot of the eastern horizon from my place. Sometimes you can't see the sunrise for the trees. The new print studio/gallery/classroom will have a single window in the studio area that will look directly at the sunrise - that is where the new computer will go - I will need a good set of shades.

At least we all got to enjoy the sunrise even if we couldn't be outside.

I've got trees AND a hill in the way. I was just about to leave for work this morning when I noticed a beautiful pink sky through the kitchen window and for a fraction of a second thought about trying to make it somewhere for a few shots, but a fraction of a second was all I needed to conclude it wasn't possible.

David,
That's kind of an "insult to injury" situation -- not only did you have to miss shooting a beautiful sunset, you had to miss it because you had to be a WORK at such an insanely early time!
Oh well, hopefully by being at work that early you get home in time to catch some great sunsets!

I watched that sunrise too. I was on my way to work and watched it change over about 15 minutes. It sure made the trek to work a lot nicer than normal. I think God just wants to brighten our day when we can't be off.
