Garden Robin # 2
Hi All,

Thanks very much for all the encouraging comments on my last post, much appreciated.

This time I decided to take the fork out and get him on the pot instead. He has become alot more tolerant of the camera noise now because at first he'd fly off after 1 shot, where as now he stays put and this is one of 10 I took this morning.

Techs:
Taken with same rig as before, 1/160th sec at F6.3

C and C welcome

Thanks and Regards
Chris. :toast:

Chris,

Its nice but fraid I'm not fond of the plastic pot.... change it for a Terracotta one perhps looking used and lay on its side.......

(OK I spent a long time yesterday looking for such a pot, different use though....)

Hi Chris - nice image, though he's a bit smaller in the frame than he was in the fork shot - and Phil is spot on with the teracotta thing  :wavey: :toast:

You certainly teach it to do its trick, Chris! It's a great "garden magazine" photo, but I do agree with Phil on pot material thing.

Cheers,
Marko

You have certainly got this guy trained well - and your remote system is great. Like others, not keen on the plastic pot

Back to the drawing board with the props, I think  Nice shot, but the pot is quite dull. Tipped over with dirt falling out would give it a more candid feel.

Hi All,

Thanks for the comments so far.

I agree with everybody who mentioned the pot because when I posted it, I thought something didn't look quite right and now I know what! I've just been out to buy a small terracotta pot so will try what the majority suggests. :toast:

Thanks and Regards
Chris.
