A small and modest impression from the Rose Garden.
I don't know myself what to think of it. I love it, but very often projection of own imagination don't project well to others.
A better and less compressed version can be found on:

I will be very thankful for direct and honest opinions.
Thank You

P.S. I purposely left the rose stands not stamped out to keep the sense of space, distance and reality. I am not sure if it was a right decision...

Cezar,
I like the colors and it is different. I do have a few of observations. The blue sky peeking through the top part and the trees in the background is a bit distracting. The trees, especially in the center look hazy as if you over burned them or it was a hazy day and last the darkest areas are lacking detail. This is all observed on my monitor at work which is calibrated.

The center is hazy because it really was hazy and this is why I am somehow fond of this image. The haziness kind of makes it dreamy in my mind. The haziness is why I am so stubborn showing this image to many people I know - and with mixed feedback. Some of them respond to it - and all of them are women. Men somehow don't. But as I said - this is my imagination projected onto this image and it may not really work on others. Nevertheless, Ansel Adams it is not, just a piece of work that came out of my imagination. I need to work on projecting it better...

I like the hazy BG. It gives the image a little mood/mystery. Very nice image!

It seems real contrasty, Cezar. I like the haze but I don't' like the top or left. Check out a crop of the top and left but leaving that "arch" so it's still noticeable, focusing down on the right and bottom 2/3 of the photo.

You are absolutely right Mark! Why didn't I notice that? I guess I was too scared to cut those roses on the top. Your crop is great, thanks!

I like the haziness as well. For me, it lends a sense of depth.

I like the depth and the crop idea sounds very appealing.

Thanks for the comments.
In the lead post there is a link to a bigger version which is already cropped according to the suggestions.
