Yep, another flower...
This morning I met Jack Graham out in Canby to attempt shooting some dahlias again. We found that a good part of the field was being heavily watered, and it was a bit windy - undeterred, we drove to another section of the farm and had a bit of time with reasonable stillness as the sun rose behind a fairly good cloud cover.

Jack - it was great meeting you! Here is one of the first of the morning that I really liked... Hope you all aren't getting too tired of these... I know I work certain subjects too death!!

Jeez, Ned, I don't even like these flowers but this is a great shot! It's quite 3D.

Hold on a second, I just got a call from the water and ferns in the gorge; apparently they are quite infuriated that you've been seeing something else lately. At least you know how to treat dahlia well, this one is no exception.

Ned,

It was great t o meet you too and thanks for sharing this area with me. I hope someday I can return the favor.

I'll get a look at some of my images tomorrow and let you know how they came out.
Regards,
Jack

Well.... Do they all have to be sickenly perfect?
I tried some at a dahlia farm I found in Tacoma. I had a wonderful day but none of mine look this good. I might dare to post a couple for you to rake over the coals.
I'd give heed to what Trevor said.

uh, er, ....emmm.... You do know I was razzin' you, Ned? Seriously, you're doing a fantastic job with the dahlias. Loving them all and not getting tired of seeing them, just as I never tire of seeing your "falls" shots. :wavey:

Cool one Ned, my favorite of your recent postings. I like the off center positioning of the flower.
