Hi to all,
Had a quick look round a 40D yesterday and I was mightily impressed , I'm seriously considering buying one in the coming week.

The usability , menu access and LCD screen are a vast improvment over my 20D , if anybody has any practical experience with this camera I'd like to hear their views.

Regards

I bought one on Friday, coming up from the 400d.I have only used it for a day but I'm seriously impressed,it's very easy to use, well laid out and a vast improvement on my last camera.AF is fast and accurate as my recent migrant hawker post shows,1/3 increments of iso adjustment is a very usefull adition too,And the 6.5fps is rapid enough for most situations.
From my limited experience I'm going to say this is a very good camera, and well worth the money.

Hi Stuart,
Thanks for the info , as you've already mentioned , the iso range was the clincher , the 1/3 increments in iso will be extremly useful ( Don't think my 20D will do this? ) , whilst taking my Bluethroat shot yesterday I was constantly switching between iso200 and iso400 so the inclusion of iso250 / 320 is a welcome addition.

Once again , thanks for the info.

Kind regards
