It's just little old me, under fog.

Last Sunday starting about an hour before sunrise I cycled through all of the overlooks I knew of where I could get over the fog in the valley of the Buffalo, and for one reason or another none of them worked out. Finally about an hour after sunrise I decided my only chance now was to get down under the fog somewhere, and I was able to get a few snaps off down at Steel Creek before the fog broke up.

Ah, fog...one of my favorite times to shoot. Sorry the overlooks didn't work out, Randy. Have you ever been up the trail to the overlook above Steele Creek? It's one of my favorite spots, and easy to get to (during low water).

Would that be the overlook on top of the east end of Roarke Bluff? No, I've not made it up to that one. So many bluffs, so little time! So there's a trail going up there?

A couple of months ago I came down from 43 on that horse trail and bushwhacked my way to the west end of Roarke Bluff and found a couple of nice south-facing overlooks there, beyond the campground. I'm looking forward to going back there sometime.
