This barn is right off the road, north of Parkdale on the Dee Highway (if you're going to Lost Lake from Hood River, you drive past the Coffee Co. on Tucker Rd, take a right past the Apple Valley General Store, that's the Dee HIghway. If you go past the turn off to Lost Lake you'll come to Parkdale eventually).

You have a knack for finding these interesting old barns. Can't say I've ever seen anything like this. That one shingle hanging down at an angle adds alot.
P.S. How about if you be the regional guinea pig and get the D3 when it comes out and let us know whether or not we should spend the big bucks.

I might do that, Mark, although it won't be till next May or so. I'm sort of holding out for the 18-2? megapixel next step up version.

I like the lighting and the shadowing, Mark... it is also interesting to see the evenly spaced, meticulous nailing along the edge of each...
