Hi Folks,
I have not deserted you but have spend many weeks visiting the pantanal wetlands in Brazil in a scorching 42 degrees heat.
Fantastic place teeming with wildlife.
Still not easy, of course, to get good pics as fires obscured the light and vegetation ruined many a possible good shot and so on.
Now spending a week with my son, who recently married a Brazilian girl, in Sao Paulo...the noise of the sprawling city with its 25 million+ inhabitants is quite unbelievable, especially after the silence in the Pantanal.
Returning to the UK for a few peaceful months, early October and shall post some of my Pantanal shots then.
Blimey, you get around, Paula. I`ve just come back from a major excursion to...my local beach, about a mile away . Look forward to your Brazilian pictures.

Hi Paula,
Now, you got all sorts of excuses to keep your photography going . Good to see, that you still have intentions to share your work with us!

Looking forward to seeing the wildlife of the Pantonal. I must admit, its been on my lost of 'to-do' locations for about 4 years. Would love to hear all about your trip.
