Cloud rocks...(+repost)
Oregon coast from last year. Stayed out on therocks a bit longer than I porbably should have, it was quite dark and sketchy getting back. I really like the darkness and mood of this shot. Thanks for looking.

Really really cool. Are those clouds or water in the foreground? This looks like it could be on another planet.
Top notch. :toast:

Boy this looks way too dark on the web. Not sure why. I'll continue to mess with it and see if I can lighten it up.....?

This is the good stuff Jeremy! Please post your re-work cuz it's all happening in this image.

Jeez, I don't know, I'm seeing an awful lot of misty ocean/cool rock/killer sky shots lately.

Here's a repost after messing around with it for a while to lighten it up and remove some of the blue cast.

Original for me, Jeremy.. gives a more ominous mood...

I prefer the original too (or at least on my display at work). The 2nd looks very noisy.
I do like the color in the rocks of the second though. I love the way you used the foreground rock, and left frame rock to balance and frame the center 'island'. What lens did you use here, by the way?

Well now you've gone and done it. I can't decide which one I like best. Both are great. I like the blue in the 1st; I like the rocks and bit of (reflection?) color in the water around them in the 2nd. I can't see the noise Chris mentioned, but that might be me... Nice work, Jeremy.

My vote is for the 2nd version. I like the fact that you can see more detail in the rock and I prefer the color of the water in #2.

Jereny,

The coloration and detail in #2 really make it more pleasing for me than the 1st. Both are very moody and are great images.

#2 is way way noisy. Not sure what is going on with your monitor - maybe it was saved in a different color profile? OS X displays the photo and uses the profile so #1 looks very natural to me. #2 is tweeked to hard.

Awesome shot, Jeremy !

How many pounds of dry ice did that take  ? I love the composition and mood here.
