Redwoods NP in Autumn?

Hi,

I've seen pics of Redwoods NP where the shrubs and creepers and assorted plant life turn a bright red during Fall...contrasts beautifully with the evergreen redwoods. I was wondering if anyone in this forum has seen this fall color in Redwoods NP, and if so, what time of year is good to catch that? I would assume mid-october? Thanks,
