Waterfall at the Grottos
From last weekend at the Grottos on Independence Pass. Canon 30D, Tamron 18-200 XR Di II. Converted to BW in Lightroom, sharpening and minor dodging/burning in PS CS3. Comments and critique always welcome!

Great shot. I like that there seem to be three layers to look at.

This is a very nice layered image Nat. Good shutter speed and an excellent choice of subject.

I like it! Well treated to become an artistic impression. Plenty to gaze at and pleasing to see.

That's really cool, Nat! I stopped at the Grottos on my fall trek a couple weeks ago, it's an interesting place, will have to go back for the ice.

Very nice, intimate portrait, Nat. The left side of the image doesn't hold a lot of interest for me, but the silky texture of the water in the URC and the detail in the rocks provide a stable foundation for the image and a resting place for the eye.
