Sunset on Cottonwodd Pass
Sunset last Friday the 21st. It was a good show.
This is a two image stitch @ 13mm.

A little bit later, and just a single vertical crop.
I'm still working this one and would like to hear what people think.

The bottom one has lots of potential, but the contrast seems a little off in the rocks at the bottom. The whole scene looks a little dark on my monitor.

Really nice reds and light in the top one.

They both look a bit dark on my monitor too, but nice comps, color and stitich for sure.

Boy, those are a couple of nice ones! I'd probably agree after reading the comments that they are a tad dark, but not a lot. The top one is my favorite with the golden light on the peaks.

I agree on their darkness, but both have real potential with just a bit more work.

Thanks for the comments and suggestions! I'll look at lightening them a bit. Just got back from a day in the Ohio/Kebler area. It's beautiful! Lots of RNMP-ers out, which is cool. Hope something turns out!

That first shot is fantastic! I love the light and the rich, warm colors.

I'm diggin' that first one - a little dark, but it works well as is, imo. The road and ridge add some nice tension. The second one is pretty sweet, too, but I agree with the others on brightening it up. Nice shooting!
