Red Deer Hind
20D, 300/4, ISO800, 1/30 @ f5.6, A-327 + BH1, ACR4.1 + CS3.

Hi,

Before the Stags start taking centre stage here is a portrait of a hind from a project shot this morning.

It was dull, I was deep in the woodland, amazed I got anything sharp at all......

All the best

Phil

Hi Phil,
A lovely sharp and detailed portrait. I like how the whole of the frame is filled with a very similar range of colour.
Be nice to hopefully see some more deer images on the forum over the coming weeks.

Phil,
At first I thought this was a tinted monochrome image and was going to say that it was very nice - I now realise that it's a colour image and am going to say brilliant! Again it may just be me but there's something restful about it. Thanks for sharing

Nice Shot, good detail and sharpness, Oddly i think it would make a great template for a wood cut.
