Kebler Pass 9/16
Greetings! I'm new to Colorado, new to digital imaging, and new to landscape photography - but I'm having a great time exploring it all!

My wife and I visited Kebler Pass a couple of weeks ago and this image was about the only decent one we managed to get. The weather turned sour quickly but the sun peeked through the clouds for a few minutes.

Anyhow, any feedback on the image will be greatly appreciated.

I think no one has commented on this yet because they saw your photo and headed straight for Kebler Pass! This is really nice, with the interplay of sunlight perfectly situated on those trees, some nice moody clouds just barely kissing the summit of the Beckwiths, and those golden willows in the foreground. Nicely done, Arlen, and welcome to the forum.

Thanks for the kind words Todd. I was beginning to think the image had some serious newbie flaws (maybe it does) and no one wanted to be the bearer of bad news! Really, I want all the constructive feedback I can get.

Hey Arlen, Welcome to the forum! Nice shot and I agree with Todds comments. I guess Todd and I are the only ones not out shooting!

Hey Arlen, nice shot, I love the depth in this shot and the colors. I might have moved left a little bit and taken another shot without that tree, just to compare the images.

Keep shooting, and welcome!

John, I am not out as well

Nice Arlen! Actually a lot of the regular posters were out on Kebler this weekend. It's even better now. You got some great light and color! Welcome!
