Hi All, Got a unsuspected time off from work.Decided to make a surprise visit to son who now lives in Breckenridge.I will arrive October 6th.He is interested in photography and I would like to take him to photograph some fall colors.I was in Colorado last year for 10 days almost exclusively in the San Juans. It was awesome! Can you give locations within an hour or two of Breckinridge that I my find good color if it is not to late.I enjoy RMNP's forum and make it a daily visit.Thanks Best Color shooting to you all !!

It may be a little late around Breck. You might try Boreas Pass right there. There will likely be a little color left in the Rampart Range area though it is about 1:30 from Breck.
