Hello

I want to get myself a good waterproof Camoflage jacket, but not one that makes a noise when moving.

The one i really like, is the one that Mike Dilger wears in the BBC 2 program Natures Calendar. But i dont know what make it is ?.

There is ones like this one on Ebay, but i dont really want the elastic cuffs LINK

Can you recommend a good one to get ?.If so where ?.

Thanks for the help :toast:

Hi Alan,

Try this thread, I was looking into it about a month back for Roe Deer, but unfortunately my location for them fell through, therefore I did not bother. You can pick up waterproof jackets and trousers for about £100 which I thought pretty good.

I think Musto do a really good camoflage suit. I know a number of stalkers that use their kit. There is a Jacket and overtrousers. Loads of pockets hand warmer pockets.

Alan I too am in the process of looking for a jacket exactly as you describe and like you I also like the look of the one Mike Dilger wears. I think it might be a 'Deerhunter Montana Jacket'. If so they seem reasonable priced:

Hi Alan,
Here is a new camo company with English countryside patterns, lots of pictures showing how it works in the countryside etc.

Hi Alan,

I have ordered and today received this : http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/purchase/products-found.jsp?_requestid=66649

from cabelas, the coat is excellent and filled with 80% down so very thick and warm, but not heavy. cabela's service is second to none, and if you get stuck, they have a live helper you can type/talk to live.

HTH

Regards

Rob
