800mm sunsets

Went camping on the beach this weekend, brought the 800mm (400 + doubler) and the digital to capture the sunset! Got lucky with a few stripes of clouds down low on the horizon!

That is definetely a huge sun. I've never tried using a telephoto on the sun, as I've heard that could make you go blind. cool shot though.

I've got a few techniques down pat to save my eyes :-) That was my major concern when purchasing the 800mm combo (this is why I purchased it, for sunsets)
