Since I couldn't get out this weekend (I hope y'all got some good shots ), I spend the previous weekend shooting fall colors. ...and since I still shoot film it takes forever (a few days) to post these. Here is one of Chair Mountain in alpenglow. At the time I took the shot only few of the Aspens had turned.

Great shots! Especially the one of Capital Peak.

This is very nice Rene and my favorite of the group. Capitol is always nice for the dramatic shape of the mountain, but here the vivid color, placement of the moon in the clouds and foreground with spots of color make for a nice open image.
Oh, and I still haven't even unloaded the film from my 4X5 from my southwest trip.
René - the Capitol Peak shot is fantastic! The Chair Mountain image is really strong, too - the moon is a great touch. Does it look a little magenta to you? I'm on my laptop, so not the best for judging colors, but it looks a little heavy on the magenta.

DUH! Thanks Rick - just checked my PS file - I had a couple layers turned off! I must have ignored then when I created the JPG. The above should look better now.
Thanks for the positive feedback everyone.
