Friday night
I was checking out the McClure Pass area Friday night and on the way out from FR 265 caught this in my side mirror, so I had to stop.

Hey Don - I thought that was you that I passed a couple of times on 265. I was in the gold Tundra going back and forth.

What a light show that you captured! I ended up setting up at an overlook to Chair Mountain. I thought sunset was going to be a no-show, but ended up with some very nice light, even if only briefly. I captured a hint of these rays in one of my shots, but nothing this spectacular.

Rick, that's too funny! I remember seeing the gold Tundra and wondered if there was a photographer in it, and whether I knew him, especially when I noticed it perched at the overlook near sunset. I stopped and was going to ask if you minded sharing the spot but then noticed the light looked like it was going to get shut off by clouds so continued back down the road. I took this shot just downhill from the gate/cattle crossing by the heavy equipment place. I'll keep my eyes open for you next time our paths cross.
