Nice image, like the warm light and the autumnal colours.
Super colour, great bird and pose, just the right size in the frame, I just feel that your subject is on the wrong side.... got to agree with Dave, either you drive a go-kart or..?..
In spite of a minor nit love the image.

Very nice indeed Major - love the lighting on this (methinks Sunday afternoon - Salthouse perhaps?) and it works well the subject and enviro of the shot.

Difficult to to get a stunning image of a Meadow Pipit but you have achieved it with this one. Wonderful setting!

Thanks for your comments the car in the sea and go-kart made me chuckle.
This image was taken on Mull where there was an abundance of multi coloured sea weed.
This was at the edge of a sea loch and the sea weed was draped over several large rocks, hence the low view point. Had the bird been directly on the floor I would most certainly have been looking down on it. My only regret was that I didnt spend more time at this site.

Love this. The colours and light are superb. When were you on Mull - heading there myself in a couple of weeks.
