Hi All - Long time no see! My life has been a rollercoaster this year. We are still in the area for now. Our plans to move south have been stalled a bit, but still in the works. I have been a lurker from time to time, finally getting sometime to process some of my images from this year.
Here is a shot from my cousin's wedding reception flowers taken in Redmond, WA last month. I haven't been behind the lens much this year. Lots going on in my personal and professional life, not much time for my passion. I wanted to check in and say hi to all of you! Lots of new names and great work.
Nikon D70, 105mm Macro, 1/8-f13, 0ev, 200iso, cropped and curves.

Beth, It's good to hear from you. I hope everythings going OK. Very cool shot.
Thanks Erik - Everything is ok, just a couple glitches in our plans. My husband's company who was transfering us to Phoenix sold in early August, and they outsourced his entire division. His last day was last Friday. We have several opportunities in the works for Phoenix area, just nothing solid yet. The home we are having built is due for completion in late Nov-early Dec, so we have a bit of time to figure things out. The buyers we had for our home backed out a couple weeks ago, so our home in Oregon is back on the market.
One top of our personal situation, my company is restructuring going from five owners down to one, so I have been quite busy training my replacement, refinancing one of our buildings and helping figure out the new structure for our company.
Just a little busy! We are still very optimistic that everything will work out for the best. Not quite the timeline we expected, yet things rarely work exactly as planned.
I was reading about the upcoming fall event this weekend. I wish I could make it up to see everyone, but I am taking my nephew's senior pics this weekend. If something comes together in Oregon later this month, I will do my best to make it. I could use some time behind the camera for my own peace of mind. All is well and we are all healthy, so I am definitely not complaining!
Nice deep red in this dahlia. Hope everything settles down for you soon.

Sorry to hear about the false start heading to Arizona. I'm sure with persistence, everything will work out.
Glad you got at least a little time to shoot (assuming the dahlia is recent).
I was actually thinking about you a little while ago; both of the "instructors" on a photography cruise I went on last month suggested Inge and I look at NANPA. Are you still active with them?
Sean - Yes this is a fairly recent shot, early last month at my cousin's wedding reception.
I am still quite active with NANPA as their Summit Chair organizing the annual conference. They have a great program and I would highly recommend looking into what they have to offer at www.NANPA.org. If you have any particular questions you can email me directly at elizabeth@ejoylife.com, and I will do my best to answer or direct you to someone who can. Cheers, Beth
