7 Bridges
In between work, managed to sneak in a sunday afternoon stroll up 7 Bridges (Cheyenne Canyon), and of course had to stop for a few photos! Can't decide about this one--is it too busy??

here's something a little simpler.

Yeah, I think #1 is too busy for my tastes. I think there needs to be more continuity to the flow of the falls. Similar for #2 - the comp is cleaner, but I'm expecting the stream to anchor the shot; the large rock cutting it in half limits it's contribution to the scene. Looks like a great place to kick back and enjoy a Sunday afternoon, though!

I agree with Rick on #1. there are tons of great photo op locations all along that Creek. I spend a ton of time thee and most of my Cascade shots on my website come from there and Bear Creek in the next canyon over to the North.

Stan I like the B&W conversion but have to agree there is a lot going on in #1. I agree with Rick's comments on #2 as well. It is a great place for photo ops for sure though.

RE: #2 - If you crop just above the top boulder and clone out the remaining hot spots I still like it, even with the middle boulder.

Stan,
How far up the trail did you go? There is a huge stand of aspen at the top of the trail just north of where the trail forks off to Mt Rosa (between that fork and Jones Park). I'm curious as to whether I missed the colors there....
Thanks!
