I'll be dong my annual photoworkshop based in Lee Vining this weekend. If you see a white Ford Explorer with Ohio plates ( yes I moved to Oregon but havn't done the DMV thing yet!) please honk or say hello.

I managed to squeeze a few days from the boss (and work too) I'm heading out in the morning and will be there Thur - Sat. Bummer about the wind... but I'm sure I can find something to fill the ground glass.

I'll be looking for Preston in Lee Vining canyon... and I know Paul B. is up there as well. I'll be driving a silver Ford Escape and since it's a short trip, will concentrate in the Lundy and Green Lakes Rd areas.

Hope to run in to someone along the way. Haven't figured out where I'm staying yet.. but I'll have a sleeping bag.... The car works for me.

ps. I tried to get a room at Murphy's, but the lady said she had SIX workshops booked... egads!

You guys think the foliage will hold up for another two weeks? I had jury duty this week originally but then it got rescheduled for two weeks from now. Then next week I'll be out of town twice.
