More from my Western Colorado and E Utah trip of two weeks ago. Very pleasurable and not difficult hike to see these two arches, that are very close to one another.
The first image of Bowtie Arch. Although not in fall colors, I noted a solitary small aspen tree below this arch, might make for an interesting shot when it turns.

Nice photos, Timothy; particularly the Corona Arch photo. The tree you refer to as an aspen is actually a cottonwood. Aspen trees don't grow at this low elevation.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh, ok! :) Did note that it would be a fun shot when it turns yellow, which should occur sometime in near future.

Great images! I really like that second image. The colors are great!
Looks like a great place to explore. Although the lighting is rather harsh, Iike the forms and your compositions.

Timothy: If you're comfortable with class 3-4 scrambling there are some Moqui steps on the other side of Corona Arch you can use to access the top of the arch and plateau. Exquisite views from up there!

That is a really cool composition on #2. Great shot!
I didn’t know about the steps – I have to check that out next time I am out there.

Thanks for the kind words! Had a good time the 3 days I was in the area.
