Hey, I hope you're all enjoying the Fall Color Event- those of you that braved the weather. I chose to stay nearer to home and lo! and behold found some color, too. Can't wait to see what everybody worked on this weekend.
This was captured today at Washington Park Arboretum, Seattle.

I liked this scene because of the understated tones of this Autumn; nothing here is screaming it's head off with brassy, show-off color, no divas. The tree is so graceful and stately in its architecture. It's already been well processed from what came out of the camera and with the addition of extra color/sat that Carol recommended.
Geez, I guess I'm puttin' my foot down on this one! But fire away- still wanna know what you think even though I'm not changin' it.

I agree with the others about the colors. I think a little more saturation would bring out the leaves and make them stand out more against the busy background. It's a nice image Catherine, but I think I would like it better with a little boost, imho.

I see no diff, Catherine...

The second one seems a hair more saturated but either way, I like it. I like it being understated. I was going to say that I like it's understatedness but I don't think that's a word.
You guys are tough! Alright arm-twisters, I concede that you are right. Here's another try at the Bronze Tree. IF it meets with your expectations for better saturation and contrast, wanna take a guess as to what I did?
All comments welcome and appreciated.

I like #2. I'm not sure what you did to #3, but the yellow/orange tree on the lower left seems to have lost quite a bit of it's punch. The nice red leaf in the upper right is much browner.
The main suggestion I'd have here would've been to include the bottom of the main tree's trunk.
I've really gotta spend some time at the Arboretum.
