Adult leopard
This fully mature (female) I think, in prime fitness was a true spectacle. Taken about 5.00pm, she gave a real show and was very content. Personally this pose says it all to me, contentment!

Cheers Alan

I think it is one of my top three out of that months trip, she was so relaxed. I guess if it was a male he would not be in such a pose?

Cheers Dave, wonder what KH would make of it. That would be icing on the cake

I can see why it's a favourite.
Lovely sharp and contrasty type of shot.

Minor nit for me is the tail extending down from the rear leg. Very minor.

All to easy to get these wrong in the excitement. Well done Stu. I know how tricky these can be as they do like to rest in the shade.

Back to the 'ideal world' again John.

Cheers Paul.

Could have gone horribly wrong with that background, but you've nailed it. Classic pose. The one thing I didn't see, a leopard in a tree. :toast:

Hi Elliott appreciate the comments, if I had used a faster shutter speed on the rest when she came down from the tree then I really would have been a happy bunny, they are just a nats off. How many times have you heard that! She gave us a great show on two separate occassions. Well pleased

Thanks for looking.
