Turns out these bright orange mushrooms are actually called Jack-O'-Lanterns, and not only do they look like pumpkins, but they also glow in the dark! While working on a shot from underneath one of them this morning in the patch near our cabin, the sun popped up over the horizon, creating a bit of backlighting, and messed up my picture. Oh well, not much you can do about the sun, but I am going to return tonight to see if they really do glow...
