My little 'shroom picture
I finally managed to pull the images off of my camera today (not too sure I wanted to after seeing Tim E.'s work!) and I had one image that wasn't too bad. I was using my 10-22mm lens and I had to use a cloth to darken the sky on the upper right.

Looks like a new type of Mexican hat, or like a hat that one of Hogan's Heroes wore in the TV series.

Did you have any issues with nats? I had a swarm of them buzzing around the mushrooms I was shooting and since many of the exposures were 5-10 seconds it was tough to keep them out of the photo. I did not think they would make much difference until I looked close on screen and saw black streaks across some of the macros.

Ha - no gnats - I did have the odd spiderweb and blemish to clean up (a bit tedious when they fell across the veins!).

Beautifuly done, Tim! I can't believe the size of these monsters. I keep hoping to see an image with a leprechan in the bg!
