I'd like to thank Jerry, Tomas, Douglas, Bret, and Bob for one of the best weekend photo trips I've ever had; No kidding, it was that much fun.

And for those who couldn't make it, you missed a fantastic color display. Even better than I'd expected.

We all had a great time. We spent evenings around the fire shooting the breeze, with Tomas using the most ammunition and also receiving more than his share of cheap shots

Sunrises were a bust, but the Fall color was all one could hope for.

I got home a couple hours ago and I'm bushed. Hopfully one of the other guys has enough evbergy to process and post an image...

Glad you had a good time! Too cold for me, with a bad sinus infection too...
I may try to get up later this week if the weather is decent.

Well, we drank some of your coffee while we were in town, so you were there via your coffee

Sandy, as wild as the color was, there are still areas that are either green, or not quite at peak yet, so you should definitely try to get up there.

Where is your stamina, Curtis!?? Glad the trip was great.. sorry personal issues at home kept me away....

Doh! Wished I was there. The good news for the fam-fam was we did get two sunny days at the beach, the second sunset I was ready for. But then my wife said, "why don't we all go down to the beach so you can take pictures..." and the kids started screaming for bedtime. And the next day it rained... :argue:

Even so, it was good to just hang out away from the same ol', same ol' in town. Now, is there a followup trip in the works???

It was a blast and well worth the trip down Curtis. We found some really great color! Thank you for setting this up!

I'm on my 3rd cup of coffee (I think I am awake enough) and loading the shots onto the hard drive now.

Morning Curtis and all. Slept in till 8:00 this morning. Had a great time running around and getting to know a new area to me. VERY pleased with what we found and the weather was better than expected. Will try to get the courage to post something today.

Glad you guy's had a good time. Wish I could have made it but circumstances prevented me from being in any kind of cool weather. Looking forward to next year. Now let's see some images!

What Zack said!

Curtis,

Thank you for pulling this all together, the weekend was simply awesome. Your knowledge of the area is really what made it all work IMHO. I absolutely collapsed at 8:00 last night. My card reader is running in overdrive as I write.

I still can't get over all the color up there, that coupled with the ideal weather made for perfect conditions. Even I should be able to pull out a decent image full of Dougish hues! I'll definitely be back there for a Mt. Adams sunrise again.

Thanks again Curtis, and I had a great weekend with you guys.
