One of the boys
Out hunting early in the morning, this male cheetah (one of four brothers) stood proudly on a small outcrop surveying his territory. Within half an hour of taking this shot, the brothers were feeding on a small gazelle that they had taken down.

The one item I do not like is the posture of the front legs, but I guess in any other stance he would have fallen over!

Hi Steve

The perfect portrait in my book. BG complements the subject perfectly. A little tweak on the eye colour may improve it.

Thanks Brian, perhaps a slight tweak. However, if I do, even keeping the same file name it will not reload the image with the small amend I assume.

Another awesome image Steve :toast: :toast:

If you do tweak it just attach it as a repost :wavey:

This is excellent, in my book Steve :toast: :toast:

VERY sleek posture captured, and an ideal setting for this fine portrait!!

No dought a small tweak would polish it off to perfection, but i like this a lot :toast:

Well, I had not quite expected such replies and encouraging words. Many thanks indeed to all.

I have tweaked the eyes a tad, which I trust will meet with approval.

I thought the original looked fine but looking at the repost it's a case of 'best just got better' - again Steve, excellent image :toast: :toast:
