Mother and Daughter Sika Deer bonding still. The rut is back in swing for these deer the same as the Reds. However, a few mothers are still suckling their young from last season. This can cause complications as I watched a stag constantly chasing a youngster away from its mother who became quite distressed by the unwanted attentions.
