Jackdaw...
20D, 300/4 + 1.4, ISO400, 1/125 @ f8, A-327 +BH1, C1 + CS3.

Hi,

Another species that Richmond Park is well known for, Jackdaws can be seen all over.... not a great shot but shows what can be obtained with very little effort...... (sat in the car on the car park)

All the best

Hi Phil,
Great portrait with masses of detail in that dark plumage.
Coincidently,I had an enjoyable afternoon photographing a black and white jackdaw just a couple of days ago.

Nice Jackdaw, nice detail and good sharpness, only nit i can think of would be the fence in the BG, but still a worthy shot to have :) Looks like a good location!

Finely detailed portrait Phil :toast:

Plenty of these around my garden all year, and the little blighters peck away at the flashing on my roof for some reason, and nest on my chimney

Strangely, ive yet to train my lens on them yet, which is something i must rectify
