Although I could not make the fall color outing in Oregon, you folks did inspire me to find something at Mt. Rainier. Last weekend, they had a dump of nearly 8 inches in 24 hours. Very early in the season and just as the colors were nearly at their peak. The continued cold snap along with rain and wind, has taken its toll on what little was left in the lower areas. This shot was the only one I walked away with, and I would never print it – just wanted to show what little was left. This canyon is the first set of hair-pin turns just past Snow Lake. Processed in LR with very little modification.
I have been away far too long. Maybe work will let up a little bit so I can get out and shoot more.

Thanks for sharing, Randy. I don't know, it looks like there's a fair amount of material to work with. I might have been a little more timid with that sky, but the hills look pretty bright and the fog in the valley has some potential.
