With this and Phil's fox, I think my monitor is going into meltdown  Truly stunning photo Phil. If it were mine, I might tinker a bit and completely silhouette the storks. :toast: :toast:

Hi Dave it's a concrete platform from some old electrical mast, the owner of the farm where these particular storks are asked the local power company to leave it when they moved the cables for the storks the three poll sticking out of the top are to stop black kite landing, the last four years I've been going to the same place this stork as fledged at least three young every year.

Phillip.

Hi Philip
Lovely image, only thing I'd change, but ONLY if it were MINE, in the light streak thru the purple cloud about a third of the way in from the left there looks like a dust spot. It probably isn't, but I've got a stubborn speck on my sensor exactly there that has to be cloned out so I always see one there.

Hi Philip,
I'm going to go a little against the grain I'm afraid,as whilst the silhouette is superb, I find the colour just a bit too intense. Not really a nit as colour intensity is very much a personal and subjective matter.
There is however certainly no shortage in appeal and impact with this image.
