Cape hare (Lepus capensis) II - All ears
Taking on board various comments from a previous posting of the same animal, I trust this may have a bit more impact. Some very minor tweaks in curves and saturation.

I have come back to this a few times-love the light through the ears and great sharpness but cant decide on the comp with the chopped legs, I know you cant crop tighter as you would clip the whiskers and moving out may loose impact-dofficult one but overall i like it :toast:

Now you have mention it Dave, I too am having doudts about this image. Like Andy & Helge I thought this was a cracker, but the more I look at it the more I become unsure. Perhaps if I had got all the legs in and reviewed the crop I might feel happier with the overall image. Need to ponder.

Ive also looked at this a few times Steve, and first thoughts were purely the high impact feel :toast:

As its has a deliberate crop 'look' above the knees, it doesn't have the clipped/user error 'look', it does work to some extent to my eye. Not sure if the composition looks slightly unbalanced , due the prime area {eye} being close to the center of the frame, and needing the entire legs to restore the usual balance maybe

Either way, i like this a lot!!

Hmmm, I love the pose and the backlit ears, but to me this looks like two different images. I know it's not, but the top half is just so much darker than the bottom half. It just looks a bit odd.

I don't mind the cropped legs - it's the ears and face that make this shot.

Love the hare's expression and the image has lots of impact with those backlit ears and big bright eye. Works ok as it is but would have been even stronger, had you managed to include all of the legs.
