Red Deer Stag.
Canon 20D, Canon 100-400mm L I.S. @ 400mm, 1/1000 sec @ f8, iso 400,
Gitzo 1548/B1, Raw, Neatimage.
Small crop from left hand edge, straggely bit of gorse cloned out,
levels, curves, +4 hue/saturation.

Hi,

One from a recent,beautiful,misty dawn.
Spotted this stag a fair way off in the distant mist, so knelt down behind tripod and hoped he'd come my way, which he did by coming right over to me to see what I was before sauntering off having realised I wasn't a competing stag after his hinds.

All comments always welcome and appreciated.

Wow, if only! I have always wanted a smokin stag shot. All I would say is perhaps clone out the bright fern. Very impressive! :toast:
