Ponderosa pano...
Here is a 5 shot pano using PSCS3's photomerge. It was all done using the auto align. The shot was taken this last weekend in central Oregon by Sisters. Let me know what yall think and what/if you think it needs to be fixed. The final print is like 18"x 72".

Edit- I forgot to add that it was shot at 70mm in landscape format with a 5D,70-200f4,f22,1/8,iso100

Link to larger version here.

Man, I would love to see this in print. I checked out the large image on my good screen at home and it's great, but the jpg compression really hammers the detail. This reminds me a little of a huge painting my grandmother had in her living room of some giant redwoods and deer.

Nice work Jeremy! :toast:

You rocked the tree and fall ground cover shots on your outing last weekend. Awesome! The depth perspective of color and trunks going back into the forest is awesome. Even in this small image the bark detail is obviously sweet. A super minimal suggestion would be to give this thing a tiny tilt with the lens correction filter to get all the trunks vertical instead of leaning ever so slightly toward the center.

BTW - it was great to run into you and Rick as well at Sparks Lake. It looks like even though Sparks didn't come through you guys did some good work. If you guys are coming down south for some winter back country (or any reason) seriously give me a call.

What a cool perspective. I'm going to have to try that one of these days.

Hey bud...this is excellent. The details will way show through in a large print, which I have to see when you get her printed out.

I am envious of some of these great fall images posted here, and this one is no exception. Great processing Jeremy, as usual.

Awesome. This has great depth, texture, and color. Those ferns really push this over the top. I'm not thrilled about the gray bushes aroud the center trunk (second to the front), but I guess that's the way nature is. Without some sort of imperfection, this might seem artificial.

I saw a scene like this one the way to the Painted Hills this weekend. I wanted to stop but i couldn't find a spot big enough for the 'bago we had borrowed. Nice one, Jeremy.
