Hello everyone!
I am in the consideration process of purchasing an Epson 7800 with the Imageprint V6 software installed. Has anyone had any experience with this particular package both good or bad. I'm so used to the CS3 workflow / printing, is this system a pain to learn?
All or any information would be helpful.
Thank you!

Image print is very easy to use once you familiarize yourself with the interface. It is a complete printing package that has more options than Photoshop. There is a learning curve but it isn't that steep.
The profiles are wonderful. I use it for many of my prints. You can get new profiles on the colorbyte website. They have profiles for just about every paper.
You say the 7800 comes with Image print "installed". Note that ImagePrint installs on your computer, not on the printer. Also, make sure you get the dongle otherwise IP won't work as it is dongle-protected.

ImagePrint 7 has been out or a while. Contact them for two reasons; first to be sure the original owner is able to transfer the license to you (not likely) and secondly to see how much it would cost to upgrade to 7. We run IP 7 for our 7800 and R2400 in our studio, and print on everything from Ilford Pearl to Hahnemuhle Rag, Watercolor, German Etching and various canvases.
