Dancing to the Tide
I went to Snettisham this morning with Tom, who had booked the small hide for the high Tide and hopefully the waders. I set of from my home at 1.30am so I could get to Toms and then to Snets by 4.00am leaving us plenty of time before high tide. It was fantastic listening to the Birds arrive in the dark and the spectacle of 40,000 knots, Dunlin and Oystercatchers just in front of the hide as the light started to arrive was awesome.

Lovely image Danny, showing great movement throughout the flock. Dunno about the 1.30am start though!

Hi Danny. Superb! Its so easy to get carried away with the normal shots - this is beautifully creative. How many shots did you take to get one where at least one stood still? Just curious, but have you not considered a B&B? :toast: :toast:

Nice and artistic..something us purists need to aspire too  Fellow photographers Paul and Tony said they bumped into you at Salthouse I think at the weekend? Looking forward to getting there myself in the next couple of months. Any tips on Snettisham Danny? Booking the hide, costs, best times etc?

Hello Elliott

Nah I am too skint for B&B's you don't make enough money in this game. I took alot of shots and only a few worked some times they were too blurred and others nit enough for the shot to work. I had no choice but to try as the conditions were bad.

Hello Graeme

Toms your Man as he booked it, all I know is you have to book it well in advance. I will find out and let you know.
