I'm very happy to announce that Rich Voninski and René Pirolt will be taking over as RMNP moderators effective immediately!
I've offered to stay involved behind the scenes for a while in order to help with the transition, but, it looks like I'm getting out of town just in time!
Seriously, Rich and René have made great contributions to the success of RMNP - as forum regulars and outstanding photographers - and it's great to know that RMNP will be in such capable hands. Please help me give them a warm welcome!

Wow! Not only did you do a fantastic job as modeator, Rick, but you went the extra mile to recruit a couple very capable folks to keep it going.
Thanks to you for your huge commitment of your time and effort and congratulations and thanks to Rene and RichV for taking over the reins.
It is really amazing to look back over time and realize that it was just a few years ago that Rene & I wandered over to this forum and met up with a terrific group of people. I found this site after asking the question "Does anybody out there in Colorado shoot Large Format cameras?" on one of the Yahoo groups related to Colorado photography. Luckily somebody responded and pointed me over here and said "There always seems to be a bunch of those "nutjobs" over on CNP (previous name for RMNP)". BTW if you are the person who recommended me to come over here I owe ya a BIG THANKS!
Personally and professionally I know that I am a better photographer (and person) for having met with, shot with and sharing with the guys and gals who frequent these threads. Rene & I decided to step up and give back to the community when we heard that Rick was heading for greener (literally ) pastures. Looking over the past we know we have big shoes to fill with Rick, Scott B, Bret, Brent Adam etc as previous moderators. But since Rene & I wear size 13 and 15 shoes respectively we hope we are up to the task.
A big thanks again to Rick D for a great job as our moderator!

This is truly the most outstanding photography forum anywhere on the net. I look forward to keeping this great forum rolling with as much enthusiasm as Rick and all of the previous moderators. If anyone has any suggestions or comments, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

You chose these guys to steer the ship? Where are the life jackets?
Looking forward to the new leadership. Thanks for the work you've done Rick.
That's great news! Does this mean we all get free scanning and prints from Voninski and sherpa services from mountain goat Rene? We're sure glad to have you take up the reigns!

Good luck Rick and thanks to Rene and RichieV! Wait a sec, is there some sort of rule that the mod's name must begin with an 'R' now???

Thanks again for a great job, Rick. And thanks to Rich and Rene for taking over the duties. I don't know if either Rich and Rene work for Allstate Insurance on the side, but I do know we will be in "good hands"
