First may i say that i have checked and read the posts on the n/p site and dozens of other sites and guides also .I am thinking of getting the samsung 215TW panel and i was hoping that maybee someone has had ,used or still using this model for imaging.
I dont wish to start off a long thread about screens ,but just some basic and down to earth tips regarding a good monitor in the 20-22 inc h size.
Regards Matt

A lot has been written about monitors. Many favor the Apple screen but they come at a price and to be honest how much better are they?
Good alternatives are Dell,HP and in my opinion Samsung.
I took delivery of a Samsung 245B and i do sell quite some prints from time to time and after calibrating the screen i must say that i am really impressed with the quality of the screen. You can get them from around STG 375

I've always used Iiyama monitors, and the E511S has never let me down.

Hi Matt,
I'm in this process myself and have come to considering the Dell 2407WFP-HC, this claims to show 92% of the NTSC colour space and is only £440, so for me looks the job. Apple's 23inch is highly respected but is £600 and there's a new one around the corner with back lighting LEDS, which my laptop has (really good), but I suspect it will be expensive as new technology always is.
Most only show 72-76% apparantly unless you spend lots and get one which does 97% of the colour space.
What's this with Andy and the lottery, is after what is small change for him?

Ha Ha ,life is a lottery eh?. Thanks for your help on this . Again not wishing to create a long drawn out discussion on this ,but i have read dozens of posts on the D/preview site and im afraid the dell 240 has got quite a lot of negatives. The BENQ fp241w did very well and the samsung 215t also.I think thet 24 inches would be too large for my desk and im not sure if i would have to upgrade my pc to use one that size.Hence my question. To be honest though most of the reviews on d/p were from gamers so maybee it was a bit one sided. I supose its luck of the draw.
Thank you all for your help. Regards Matt
